According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, Amanda John was driving a white 2024 Chevy Tahoe southbound on State Road 57 near County Road 575 South at approximately 11:27 a.m. Officials stated that, for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle became involved in a serious collision in the Sandy Hook Curve area.
